SUPPORT MELANYDROS

Everything we do in Neohori — the concerts, the workshops, the care for the spring and the old school — is carried by volunteers and paid for by people who believe the village is worth keeping alive. Every event we host is free and open to all. Donations are what make that possible.

Where your donation goes

  • Heritage — maintaining the Melanydros spring, the chapels and the old mill
  • Culture — concerts, theatre, workshops and exhibitions, free of charge for everyone
  • History — collecting and recording the stories of Neohori before they are lost
  • Community — the old school as a meeting place for residents, newcomers and guests

We are a small association. Even a modest amount makes a visible difference here.

How to donate

Donations are made by bank transfer to the account of the association. Please use your own name as the reference so that we can identify your donation.

Transfers from within the EU are SEPA transfers and are normally free of charge.

What happens next

  1. You transfer your donation to the account above.
  2. We record it in the association’s books.
  3. On request we issue a donation confirmation (βεβαίωση δωρεάς) in your name.

If you would like a confirmation, please write to info@melanydros.com with the date and amount of your transfer and the name and address it should be issued to.

Whether a donation is tax-deductible depends on your own tax situation and on the rules in your country of residence. In Greece, donations to non-profit associations are made via bank transfer and are declared in your annual tax return. Please ask your tax adviser — we cannot give tax advice.
